Recently we were challenged by an artist that we had worked alongside on some previous events. She is a worked travelled foot archer and she needed help with part of her show that she tours across the globe.

Orrisa wrote "I came to KJE at the last moment for a stand for my foot archery act. I had some quite specific requirements including lightweight, portable, able to travel in a suitcase and strong enough to withstand arrows being fired at it. Not the simplest of tasks!

Kevin explains "The specific requirements and timeframe posed quite a challenge. We first needed to establish a design that could withstand arrows being fired at it and then find a way to make the resulting stand lightweight and portable. We threaded three sections of aluminium on the lathe so that they could attach together. The three section then screws into a standard heavy base microphone stand.

Orissa was delighted with the outcome and has since been in touch with us from shows in the US, Australia and India where she as been able to transport the stand in her luggage.

She finished by saying "The stand is extremely durable and it looks sleek on stage. It hasn't let me down and neither have KJE. Seriously impressed with the delivery time, the professionalism and the ability to meet any challenge.
